When we were in Hawaii last summer, we took pictures of Cameron in our master bed. Godmother Yolanda saw the picture we posted on Cameron’s blog and thought he looked very handsome. 🙂 Well, I thought we’d keep up the good work and commemorate this Legoland trip with another signature shot of Cameron in our master bed—this time in the nude! Gasp! 😉 Handsome AND sexy!
We didn’t go anywhere all summer—poor Darren was in summer school all summer. I even started him in full-time programs with summer school plus he had to go from one school (a Spanish immersion program) to another (a “regular” (i.e., English-speaking) Montessori school) and then back to the Spanish program because the Montessori school, which I really like, only operated for part of the summer. But Darren has proven to be very flexible and accommodating. He actually even started Pre-K at yet another school (a bilingual program (Mandarin immersion and English)) just this week! Long story short, he deserves a trip to Legoland! So here we are in Carlsbad for the Labor Day weekend. Even though Darren is having most of the fun out of all of us on this trip, Cameron is enjoying every minute of it too! After a day of rides, the boys really needed a bath. In the interest of time, I thought I’d put both of them in the tub together, which is a first for them! I was a little worried about them bumping heads, getting too rowdy, etc., but it worked out and we got a cute picture in the process! 🙂
Another Gymboree classic! Kids have the biggest smiles when they see the bubbles come out at Gymboree, including Cameron and Darren who used to love this song too. I remember having to sing this song over and over again on Darren’s first trip, which was on the Big Island, in our rental car in order to entertain him and keep him from melting down on those long car rides. As I mentioned in a post almost half a year ago, Cameron is so cute and happy at Gymboree that I’m thinking a birthday party there is a must. That way we could take pictures of his smiley face without feeling bad about photographing other kids since after all it’s his birthday party!
Thanks to Ah Ma visiting, we finally have a long overdue video of Cameron participating in a Gymboree classic song! (Actually I wish I had filmed Darren too who loved this song when he used to go to Gymboree religiously!) But back to Cameron, usually he follows along “uneventfully”, but today he decided to freeze for a long time, which cracked everyone up! Yes—can you say “class clown”? 😉 Like brother, like brother!
Ah Ma arrived almost four weeks ago! Shame on us for not having posted pictures earlier! Those of you who follow Cameron’s and Darren’s blogs will notice we haven’t been updating them as frequently as we used to—especially at the rate we used to for Darren when he was our only child. We do have a Legoland trip coming up this long weekend, so hopefully we could make up for some of the “slack”! Anyway, back to the post at hand, Ah Ma usually joins all the classes that Cameron takes throughout the week, which includes 1 Mandarin class, 2 music classes (at different places), 1 art class, 1 swim class, and 2 gym classes. Today Ah Ma attended Cameron’s gym class and there was a new ride-on toy at the class, so Cameron was extra excited and happy! 🙂
